January 8, 2011 Wilmington, Ohio

The Claims:  The door to the attic opened itself after being latched and that there were quiet voices heard upon occasion.

The Investigation:  setup started at 6 pm and the investigation ran until 3 am.  ACE data showed nothing significant during the investigation and no personal experiences were noted during that time frame.

The Evidence:  No discernable EVPs were detected.  There were numerous creaks and groans, that sounded like a door opening or wooden floor creaking, but nothing to indicate anything of a paranormal nature.

The Conclusion:  During our investigation there was nothing detected that would indicate paranormal activity.  The door that opened by itself was explainable, primarily due to a misaligned strike plate combined with air pressure differential.  Neither EVPs nor video evidence were detected.

Status:  CLOSED

January 29, 2011 Bowersville, Ohio

The Claims:  An object on a shelf moved to a different location by itself, some touching, shadow moving from a bedroom down the hall to a bathroom, and an animal passing through a closed window (without breaking the window).

The Investigation:  setup started at 6 pm EST (0200 SRT) and the investigation ran until 2 am EST (1000 SRT).  The evening was fairly quiet.  The object that moves was stationary during the investigation.  There were a couple EMF occurrences involving a cat, relative to the reported shadow area, which we are currently unable to explain.  ACE data showed nothing significant  and there were no geological disturbances during the investigation.

The Environment:  Solar index 81, Alpha index 5, geomagnetic predicted to be quiet, solar activity predicted to be at very low levels, no space weather alerts or warnings.

The Evidence:  As the cat, apparently following something, went into the room and the investigator opened the door to follow the cat we recorded IR Video and audio of the CellSensor detecting an EMF.   This happened twice.  The detection was validated over several hours by opening the door 4 times, without the cat being "drawn" into the room, and the CellSensor not detecting any EMF.

The Conclusion:  The apparent anomaly with the cat raises questions as to the possibility of paranormal activity, but there is nothing definitive.  Results are inconclusive.

Status:  CLOSED

February 12, 2011 Snow Hill Country Club, New Vienna, Ohio - Return Investigation

The Claims:  Numerous reports of voices, objects moving, and apparitions.

The Investigation:  Setup started at 8pm and the investigation ran until 3am EST.

The Environment:  Alpha index 2, geomagnetic predicted to be quiet, solar activity predicted to be at low levels, no space weather alerts or warnings.

The Evidence:  Audio revealed no EVPs, nothing captured on video, no EMF fluctuations detected.

The Conclusion:  No paranormal activity occurred or was recorded during the investigation.  However, considering the other times we have detected activity at Snow Hill, we believe there is paranormal activity happening there on a regular basis.

Status:  Closed

The Environment:  Apha index 1, geomagnetic quiet, no solar activity, no space weather alerts or warnings, rain storms.

The Evidence:  Several possible EVPs still being reviewed, no video at this time, some undetermined results with the Ghost Box, Paracorder 667, and plasma ball.

November 18, 2011 Wilmington, Ohio

The Claims:  Door opening, dolls being moved, 2 male apparitions, audio, odors (perfume), family feels as if the mother has remained

The Investigation:  The home was built on the site of the old Methodist Cemetery after the bodies were moved to Sugar Grove Cemetery.  Some gravestones were not moved and were used in the driveway, sidewalk, and at one point were leaning against the house.  Setup started at 7 pm, completed by 8 pm.  Humidity was between 34% and 39%.  Bz stayed above zero for the entire investigation.  Conducted multiple EVP sessions and an EMF sweep of the location.

Environmental:  Bz ranged from-.3 to 3.8 staying well above 0 for the majority of the investigation, OAT 46 F, IAT 71 F, Rel Humidity 53%, wind 5-10 mph

The Equipment:  four IR cameras on DVR, five digital audio recorders, two K2 meters, temp/humidity meter, digital EMF meter, MEL meter

The Evidence:

Play EVP - bedroom recorder caught this word.  Scott is in the background then what sounds like "who" or "poo".

Play EVP - Tom is speaking then what sounds like a little girls speaks followed by a cough.

The Conclusion:  Probable paranormal activity detected.  Lingering perfume smell of deceased resident probably leaching from woodwork in the home during higher humidity.  None detected during our investigation (lower humidity).  Several unidentified sounds and class C EVPs.  Two EVPs that stand out from the rest.  No apparitions, items moving, or odors were detected.

Status:  Closed, nothing indicating anything that could cause a problem was detected.

November 20, 2011 Undisclosed location , Ohio

The Claims:  full body apparitions

The Investigation:  Built in 1882, this building has served several different purposes.  Originally it was a church, then a dance hall, and now a storage building for a local farmer.  There was no electric at the site so everything was done with battery operated equipment.  No major solar activity expected.  We were surprised by the high EMF readings with a high of 6.4 near the front and 1 near the back.  Electrical poles were over 100 feet away.  Humidity was at 96% with heavy drizzle outside.

Environmental:  Bz ranged from -0.0 to - 5.1, wind 5-10 mph, OAT 46 F, IAT 53 F, Rel Humidity 47%

The Equipment:  Full Spectrum Hi8 camcorders, Olympus digital recorders, EMF detectors, Ghost box

The Evidence:  under review

The Conclusion:

Status:  Open
